A Message From the Skipper,
The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a nonprofit organization that teaches teenagers teamwork, self-confidence, and leadership. The Sea Cadet Corps is for teenagers from ages 11-17.
The United States Naval Sea Cadets give teenagers the chance to experience the Navy and Coast Guard way of life. In the recent months, the John T. Dempster Jr. Division has had a annual inspection and were training to become members of Teen CERT. They also took a trip down to Annapolis where they visited the Naval Academy, saw the Marine Corps silent drill team, and took a tour of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, the marine corps museum, and the Damage Control School called the USS Buttercup 002.
